All around the world, many animals are living in heartbreaking conditions—abandoned, mistreated, and without a proper home. Rummi was one of them—a sweet little pup with a very sad past.
Rummi had spent her life chained to a filthy, muddy shed. She had no shelter, no protection from the weather, and was fed food that was barely edible. The chain around her neck was so short that she couldn’t even move freely or stretch her legs. Love and care were completely missing from her world.
Although she tried to escape many times, Rummi never could—until one day, her hero appeared. The moment the rescuer gently touched her, Rummi stood up on her back legs and hugged her tightly, as if to say, “Please don’t leave me.”
The rescuer didn’t hesitate and took Rummi to a shelter filled with kind people. There, for the first time ever, Rummi wagged her tail, ran in circles, and smiled like a puppy experiencing happiness for the very first time. Her new life had officially begun!
At the shelter, Rummi made friends with other dogs and absolutely adored the staff. She loved spending time with them, always showing her appreciation through cuddles and wagging tails, thankful for being given a second chance.
